Press contact
One inbox. One human. One working day.
We do not use a PR agency. Every press email is read by a member of the Fluxa team and routed to a named human, usually the founder. The standard reply window is one UK working day. For same-day handling on genuinely urgent matters, put URGENT in the subject line and we will do our best.

About Fluxa
A paragraph for the bio line, a paragraph for the body, a paragraph for the depth piece.
Short (single-line bio)
Fluxa is a UK card payment platform with flat published pricing and direct founder support.
Medium (paragraph)
Fluxa is a UK Payment Facilitation as a Service (PFaaS) company processing Visa and Mastercard transactions for UK businesses under the FCA authorisation of a payments partner. The pricing is flat (1.8% for UK businesses), the payment lifecycle is exposed as six explicit states, the ledger is double-entry, and merchant support comes direct from the team. Fluxa is bootstrapped and pre-launch as of May 2026.
Long (for feature work)
Fluxa is a UK company building a card payment platform for online subscription, B2B SaaS and digital-first merchants. It operates the same kind of service Stripe, Adyen and Checkout.com provide (hosted checkout, embedded SDK, recurring billing, dashboard, API) on top of an FCA-authorised payments partner that holds cardholder funds and settles direct to the merchant’s nominated UK bank account.
The thesis is that UK card processing is overpriced for the value delivered. Stripe’s UK headline rate is 1.5% + 20p; after corporate-card surcharges, cross-border uplifts, FX and the long tail of small fees, typical effective rates for UK B2B SaaS land between 2.3% and 2.8%. Adyen and Worldpay are competitive on enterprise volumes but quote-only and slow to onboard. Square and SumUp serve the SMB segment but lack the depth needed for online subscription, B2B SaaS and platform-led commerce. Fluxa’s answer is a flat published rate, full payment-state visibility, double-entry ledger integrity and a direct line into the team, at a price below Stripe’s effective UK rate.
Fluxa is bootstrapped, run by a small UK team with a production AI workforce (named, role-specific, and disclosed as AI). Pre-launch as of May 2026, with the founding cohort of twenty-five merchants open. Companies House 17028144, registered in England and Wales. Fluxa is a UK Registered Trade Mark.

Embargo and on-the-record policy
How we handle embargoed briefings, off-the-record conversations and quote approval.
- Embargoed briefings
- We offer embargoed briefings ahead of significant announcements (product launches, fundraising, major customer signings). Email press@fluxapay.co.uk to be added to the embargoed-briefing list. We honour standard embargoes (typically same-day or 24-hour windows) and expect the same.
- On the record
- By default, every conversation with a Fluxa spokesperson is on the record, attributed to a named human. We do not do unattributed background briefings as a default.
- Off the record
- If you need an off-the-record conversation, say so before the call starts. We will agree the terms (off the record, on background, deep background) explicitly. We will not retroactively make a quote off the record after the fact.
- Quote approval
- We do not require quote approval for accurate quotes. If a draft contains a factual error in a Fluxa-attributed claim, we will flag it and ask for a correction; we will not ask to change wording, tone or context.
- Corrections
- If a piece publishes a factual error about Fluxa, email press@fluxapay.co.uk for a correction request with a citation of the underlying source on this site.
