How it works
SMS notifications are sent from a UK shortcode when:
- Incident created · first notification with severity, affected components, and a link to the live page
- Incident updated · status change, new mitigation, or estimated time to resolution
- Incident resolved · confirmation that the service is fully restored
You only receive SMS for incidents at SEV-1 or SEV-2 by default. SEV-3 and SEV-4 notifications can be enabled in your subscription settings if you want all updates.
